The narrative follows Izuku Midoriya, a boy born with no superpowers (known as Quirks) at a world where they’ve become commonplace, but that dreams of becoming a hero himself. He’s scouted by Each Of Might, Japan’s biggest hero, that shares his own quirk with Izuku after realizing his possible, and afterwards will help to register him at a prestigious high school for heroes in coaching.

The manga was adapted into an anime tv show by Bones. Its first season aired in Japan from April 3 to June 26, 2016, followed with another year from April 1 to September 30, 2017, then a third year from April 7 to September 29, 2018, plus a fourth year by October 12, 2019. An animated movie titled My Hero Academia: 2 Heroes premiered on August 3, 2018. Another animated movie titled My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising will be published on December 20, 2019. There are plans to get a live-action movie by Legendary Entertainment.
